Discount & Sale Price Calculator
Calculate sale price, savings and margin left after a discount.
Optional — stacked, not added.
Optional — check the margin you keep after the discount.
How the discount calculator works
In Apply discount mode, enter the original price and a discount percentage to see the final sale price, the rupees saved and the savings %. Add a second discount and it stacks sequentially, not additively — 20% then 10% off is a 28% effective discount, not 30%. Enter your cost price too and the tool shows the margin you keep after the markdown, warning you when a promo pushes a product below cost.
Use Find discount % mode to work backwards from an original and sale price to the discount percentage. Before you launch a sale, price the product with the profit margin calculator and add tax with the GST calculator.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a discounted price?
Enter the original price and the discount percentage; the tool shows the final price and the rupees saved. You can also enter the sale price to work out what discount % it represents.
Can I stack two discounts?
Yes. Stacked discounts apply one after another, not added together — 20% then 10% off is a 28% total discount, not 30%. The calculator handles this correctly so your sale maths is right.
Will my sale still be profitable?
Enter your cost price and the tool shows the margin you keep after the discount, warning you if a promo pushes a product below cost. Plan sales that move stock without losing money.
